The annual Historic Oakland Holiday Craft Fair will take place from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday November 13 and 14. The fair takes place at the Historic Oakland Manor on 5430 Vantage Point Road in Columbia, Maryland. Vendors can reserve space on the main floor, second floor, or in the vendor tent. Tickets are free but you must reserve them in advance through Eventbrite.

Attendees will have an extensive variety of crafts and art to explore with 60 exhibitors anticipated for the juried craft fair. A variety of roving local performers will enhance the festive atmosphere, making this the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit and pick up some one-of-a-kind gifts.

Carroll County Festival of Trees

November 26, 27, and 28, 2021

The 15th annual Carroll County Festival of Trees is scheduled for Friday, November 26 through Sunday, November 28 this year at John Street Quarters on 28 John Street in Westminster, Maryland. The event, hosted by The Shepherd’s Staff, features a stunning display of beautiful handcrafted trees. You’ll also find a selection of artisan gifts for sale so you can complete some of your Christmas shopping as you take in the displays.

The trees are listed for silent auction with both virtual and buy now options available. The auction runs through Sunday at 2 pm. If you win a tree, you can pick it up Sunday evening between 4 pm and 6 pm. This is the perfect way to ace your holiday decorating and get one of the most stunning trees in the neighborhood with minimal effort.

A photo booth, raffle, and live music will add to the fun at this popular holiday event. All proceeds go to benefit The Shepherd’s Staff, a Christian support and outreach center. 8th Annual Sykesville Holiday Marketplace

On Saturday, November 27, you can explore the delights of the 8th Annual Sykesville Holiday Marketplace from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will take place in The Shipley Arena at the Carroll County Ag Center 706 Agriculture Drive, Westminster Maryland. You can anticipate more than 150 vendors as the marketplace enjoys a triumphant return after being canceled in 2020. You’ll find a variety of handmade one-of-a-kind crafts as well as popular products from direct sale companies.

This is a wonderfully diverse holiday market with products that include candles, food and drinks, wood crafts, glassware, jewelry, ceramics, toys, and more. Food and beverages will be available to purchase as snacks during the event as well, so you can fuel up for hours of shopping as you explore the expansive space.

In 2021, the Kennedy Krieger Institute will host the 32nd annual Festival of Trees at the Maryland State Fairgrounds on 2200 York Road in Timonium, Maryland. The event opens daily at 10:00 am throughout the weekend. The festival includes a variety of stunning decorated trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses. These treasures aren’t just for display, they’re also available for sale so you can add an expert touch to your home holiday decorating. You can browse gifts, crafts, ornaments, and novelties from local vendors as well and get started with all your holiday shopping.

Toby’s Dinner & Show will host White Christmas The Musical this year, from November 2021 to January 2022. Make this a holiday tradition with your family as you settle in to the musical and comedic delights of this beloved show. Based on the film, the musical follows a pair of singing, dancing WWII vets who join forces with a pair of singing sisters to fill a rustic Vermont inn with cheer for the holidays.
