Before joining Exclusive, Joe built a remarkable career at Hamden Chevrolet, Mazda & Isuzu, where he led the daily operations of three franchises for sixteen years. Under his leadership, Hamden evolved into a high-achieving dealership group employing more than 100 professionals.
During his tenure, the franchises repeatedly exceeded corporate and regional benchmarks—earning the number one volume Mazda dealer title in the state, ranking as a top-10 Chevrolet dealer in the northeast region, and achieving multiple President’s Club and Gold Cup Awards. His teams maintained a steady flow of repeat customers thanks to his innovative approach to leasing and client retention. He also oversaw substantial monthly operations, managing multimillion-dollar new and pre-owned vehicle purchases while upholding strict inventory turnover goals.
Throughout his career, Joe has developed comprehensive expertise in every aspect of dealership operations. His early years as a sales leader—beginning at Century Toyota—set the tone for what would become a pattern of transformative leadership. At Century, he rose from salesperson to General Sales Manager, helping take the dealership from 150 to over 450 new car sales per month and earning recognition as one of the top five Toyota dealerships in the nation.
Later, as General Manager of Executive Honda, he introduced innovative sales and customer engagement strategies, achieving the #1 volume dealer ranking in Connecticut. His intuitive understanding of dealership operations, combined with his passion for mentorship, created training systems that not only improved performance metrics but also elevated the dealership culture as a whole.
In addition to his extensive automotive background, Joe’s entrepreneurial mindset led him to success in real estate investing. From 2022 to 2023, he specialized in identifying and renovating residential properties valued between $250,000 and $1 million, generating more than $3 million in sales in a single year. This venture underscores his versatility as a business leader and his ability to balance operational precision with growth-driven risk-taking.
